Thumbnail Design for a "Movies" Channel
Creation process for "Filmo Logia" thumbnails
In this project, I dive into the creative process behind designing a thumbnail for Filmo Logia, a YouTube channel dedicated mostly to horror movies. The challenge was to translate the channel’s dark, eerie, and cinematic atmosphere into a single frame that grabs attention instantly.
The design focuses on aggressive and impactful visuals, using bold typography, high-contrast colors, and imagery that connects directly with the horror genre. Every element — from the choice of stills and textures to the glitch-inspired effects — was carefully crafted to align with the channel’s branding and identity.
This project not only documents the making of a thumbnail but also highlights how design choices can enhance storytelling, evoke emotion, and reinforce the visual language of a channel. The final result reflects an approach where every pixel has a purpose, and where horror aesthetics meet high-impact design.
